The project consists of a 3-story addition totaling 104,000 square feet to an existing hospital and renovation to the Emergency Department for AdventHealth. The project consists of 80 patient rooms and 20,400 GSF ED Renovation.
Mechanical systems include large chilled water central air handling units serving CAV distribution system with wireless DDC controls. Chilled water for cooling and steam will be generated onsite with an expansion of existing central energy plant. New 1000 kW generator, new boilers, new electrical gear, and new HVAC units.
KLG Jones is providing Fundamental and Enhanced commissioning services. KLG Jones provided drawing reviews, submittals reviews, construction site inspections, held commissioning meetings, witnessed duct pressurization tests, performed partial functional testing during phased construction, and witnessed generator load bank testing. KLG Jones generated custom pre-functional checklists for the contractors and generated custom functional performance test scripts for the contractors to review in advance.
